Call for Climate
We started with a conviction: India's cities need better intelligence, better tools, and better thinking on water and climate — and the people building those cities deserve partners who can deliver all three.
Who We Are
Call for Climate is an urban development consultancy and digital products firm. We work at the intersection of water security, climate resilience, and urban planning — helping cities, institutions, and private sector leaders turn complex environmental challenges into clear, implementable strategies.
We are not a large firm. We are a lean, multidisciplinary team — urban planners, water resource specialists, climate researchers, GIS analysts, and technologists — assembled with intention for each project we take on. This model lets us bring exactly the expertise a challenge requires.
We are based in New Delhi. Our work spans cities, sectors, and scales — from quantifying the impact of a single restored stepwell to informing the climate risk framework of an entire metropolitan area plan.
How we work
Our Approach
Not the stated brief, the actual problem. In our experience, the most valuable thing a firm like ours can do is help a client understand what they actually need — before designing a solution.
A water assessment that can't be understood by the person commissioning it is not a good water assessment. A planning tool that municipal staff won't use has no value. We build for clarity and usability, not just technical completeness.
Part of what we do — always — is generate new knowledge about urban water and climate systems in Indian cities. That knowledge feeds back into better projects, sharper tools, and more credible advice.
The team
People Behind the Work
Call for Climate works with a core team of specialists and an extended network of urban planners, hydrologists, climate scientists, GIS analysts, architects, and policy researchers. Our team comes together around specific projects — which means every engagement gets people who are genuinely right for the work.
Over five years working at the intersection of urban water management, climate resilience, and policy development. Research Associate at NIUA's Climate Centre for Cities. Previously co-founded WDrop, a SMART water management SaaS platform, and has worked with UNESCO, UN-Habitat, and ADB-funded projects across India and seven countries.
We believe the best teams in this field are built around problems, not org charts. Extended specialists are engaged per project — GIS analysts, climate modellers, policy researchers, and developers who are genuinely right for the specific work.
